The vehicle, carrying a young man and a woman, veered off course at a signal, leading to injuries for both occupants.
They were swiftly rushed to SSKM hospital. Shortly thereafter, another motorcycle accident took place in the vicinity. One bike was heading from Ruby towards Science City, while the other approached from the opposite direction. As the two bikes came close, the first rider lost control, causing a collision. The impact resulted in the rider losing control and skidding off the road, leaving both riders with severe injuries. Local residents quickly responded, aiding in the rescue of the injured motorcyclists.
They were taken to the trauma care centre at SSKM hospital for treatment. The hospital sources said that their condition is serious. The incidents have raised questions about the safety measures on EM Bypass, especially at night.
